God of Yīnyuán, which means marriage and serendipity. Anyone with problems related to love can seek help from Yue Lao. Some people want to get out of singleness and have a sweet relationship. Others are already in love or married, but the relationship has problems, so they
also turn to Yue Lao for help.
In the legendary story, the Yue Lao has a white beard, a book of marriage records in his left hand, and a walking stick in his right hand. He will not only bind two destined people together with a red thread, but also untie the red thread from the hands of the people who are not
the right one for each other. Whether you believe it or not, Yue Lao has already arranged your destiny.
In fact, it was only after 1990 that Yue Lao began to gain popularity. As the economy grew more and more prosperous, instead of getting married at an early age, more and more women chose to get a job or go to school. In contrast, others wanted to get out of singleness but
could not find a good match. As a result, the later women got married, the fewer newborns there were, which troubled the government. With the government's support, many temples started to worship Yue Lao so that people could go to the temple to seek marriage, get rid of
singleness, and eventually get married.
When worshipping Yue Lao, you should prepare some candies to represent your hope of being in a sweet relationship, sincerely explain your problem to Yue Lao, and finally ask for a red thread from Yue Lao. If you get three Shing-bwei (Saint throw), you can receive a red
thread. After receiving the red thread, remember to take it in hand and pass it over Yue Lao's incense burner in a circle several times, put it in a red envelope and place it in your wallet. This way, Yue Lao will bless your love.
